“L’ART DU DÉCHET”
Fictional exhibition for the Grand Palais on the theme of "the art of waste".
This idea emerges during the strike of Parisian garbage collectors.
My desire is to raise awareness of the usefulness of these peoples who are too often invisible, underestimated and to change people's view of them.
This exhibition also aims to raise awareness of excess waste and to highlight reuse to create art.
I used a typography similar to that used by the Grand Palais for its communication.
For the composition of the text of the main poster, I gave the illusion of a stack (like the garbage bags that pile up). I have integrated our catch phrase: "Nothing is lost, everything is transformed"
The image used in the main poster in the background, by the 4x3 poster on the left side and on the Instagram publication, is a photograph taken in Paris during the garbage collectors' strike.
The green used is reminiscent of the color of the garbage cans. For the main poster, I made a gradient of this green, from bottom to top that goes from full opacity to full transparency.
For my minimalist street poster, I have integrated the hashtag "the art of waste".
