Creation of a typography that mixes a futuristic and "street" aspect.
This idea emerged from a simple sketch made one day in my notebook, which turned out to be the support I needed to create a typography.
Technique

I developed this idea starting from the capitals that I vectorized. I then declined the typography at the bottom of case and then into special characters that I also did in vectorization.
I then used the FontSelf Maker extension to transform my vectorization into a downloadable and usable .otf typo

L.U.V. TYPO

25–04–2023 Concept

Modular alphabet in connection with the artist Lil Uzi Vert. I chose this artist because he is the first US rapper I enjoyed listening to and it is thanks to this listening that my interest in music, especially US rap began. I was inspired by the typographies of the type games Cyberpunk 2077, Star Citizen and the movie Ready Player One.
This inspiration makes the link with the artist's futuristic punk rap universe.
Technique

Analysis of the character to come to the conclusion that his universe is very "cyberpunk". I created a typo composed of minimalist, angular and futuristic modules. I created the 12 modules, I combined them to create all the capital characters of the alphabet. I played on their inclination to add movement. For the poster, I was inspired by the colors of the upholstery of a Renault 5 Turbo. I integrated an iconic image of the rapper, representing the "point" side.
The blue of the upholstery is put on the vertical "LUV", contrasting with a darker blue in the background.
"LIL UZI VERT" is in a red close to blood red, applied to the oblique typo and the "SUMMER TOUR" is in outline only.

TYPOGRAPHY TRY ON MAGAZINE

12–11–2022 Concept

Creation of magazines with various themes by linking:
-Photographs found on the internet
-The typographies I had on my computer.

I created the concept of the magazine around its cover and the typography used.
I imagined two fashion, lifestyle magazines and a magazine of political, social and scientific popularization.
Technique

To do this, I played on typography: sizes, enlargements, character heights, and more.
I played on blurs and visual effects: distortion, blur, dressing, out of frame, full pages, etc...
